In conjunction with Lions worldwide we collect used eye glasses at local opticians and drug stores. The glasses are then sent to a Calgary prison where inmates in optical training grade the glasses for prescription. Glasses then go to organizations such a Doctors Without Borders to be given to persons in needy countries who have sight deficiencies.
