The Sunshine Coast Lions Club has been proudly serving the community since 1964. We raise funds and support initiatives in our community – for our community. Find out more about our organization and how you can help.
We are proud to support our community through various initiatives, including:
- Providing affordable housing at Greenecourt in Sechelt
- Eye Glass Collection
- Bursaries
We organize a variety of community events and fundraisers throughout the year, some of which include:
- Easter Egg Hunt – Hackett Park
- Tailgate Sales
- Weekly Gift Card and Meat Draws
- Canada Day Breakfast
- Davis Bay Sandcastle Competition
- Polar Bear Swim – Trail Bay Pier

Recent News
The Sunshine Coast Lions Club Tailgate Sale is this Sunday June 21st at Trail Bay Mall in Sechelt. Setup starts at 6:30 am. Sale goes from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. It is First Come First Serve basis. It is $15.00 which is equivalent to 2 parking stalls. The weather forcast looks great. It will be hot. Come on down to this fun community event.
Come on down to the Sunshine Coast Lions Club Annual Canada Day Pancake Breakfast. It is Wednesday July 1st,2026. We start seving at 8:00 am till 10:30. Help us celebrate our beautiful country and community.
